************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
Using VISTA x64 with SP1. Downloaded everything in the 64-bit IE the second time, and still did not work....installed with all options...what do I do!??!

Just to be correct the CTP will work with x64, you jsut can't deploy to the Zune with it - which or course makes it useless to anyone in these forums.
There was speculation amongst the MVPs that maybeyou could use VMWare or VirtualPC, install the 32 bit OS and then try to deploy from within the virtual machines - they can usually be made to see the real machines USB ports. However to my knowledge nobody has actually tried that yet. You have 2 choices if you don't have another machine. 1. Wait till a future version 2. Clean install a 32 bit OS - you can dual boot. ![]()

Your best bet would be either A) Wait for the official release to come out, at which time I assume it would be compatible with 64 Bit versions of Windows, or B) What The Zman said, Partition a chunk of your harddrive off, maybe 5-6GB is all you need, and install a 32 Bit version of windows on it so you can Dual Boot between the two. It's what I do, only 32 Bit is what im on all the time and I Dual Boot into 64 becuase it's faster for certain applications.
