Hey, I made a cool little spring physics library so that I could have menus that shoot up from the bottom of the screen (like Zune Blade), but they bounce just a tiny bit before settling down. The amount of friction, springyness etc. is all controllable in parameters. Would this be something that you would be interested in adding to Zune Blade?

I was going to do a little bit of going over then popping back down into place. I wouldn't want a full physics system just to waste resources.

It's a tool for game developers to use in their games. This way there can be an easy way for them to add a menu or use the clock or use it to browse the songs on the device.

I've started working with Tiptup to improve on ZuneBlade and he opened up a CodePlex project page for it: http://www.codeplex.com/zuneBlade. You can find the latest stable release in the Release tab and the developer source version in the Source Code section. I've been working on it all day now to add a bunch of features and clean up the API to make it easier to use. It's now also completely Windows safe so you can use it to test on Windows without having to deploy to Zune each time.

I just saw this in use in a game for the first time last night in Sim Reality's scrambled albums game, it worked really well and looked pretty nice. So good job (+rep)

i dont get the "find game" it never ever works do u have to like program your own games into the library manualy??

It's just a demo for the blade. There are no games in there. It's all just to show a game developer how to use it.

hmm.. i just downloaded the open source instead of a stable release.. and when extracting it asked if i wanted to over write. the dates on the files were 6/14 at around 9:14 instead of 5/22 like the site says. Any reason why?
