Default Direct way to load games onto zune.

I have some problem with the C# epress software and it seem to not work for some reason, not recognizing the project files, so i was wondering if there was any way to dircetly load games onto the zune, maybe with a HDD hack or something.

Thanks

well reinstalling didn't do much. Here is my post on the xna boards searching for help with my problem:
I just found out that if I install Visual C# express 2008 and XNA I will be able to load games onto my zune. THats great and i was really excited, but then, when i installed everything and tried to load a project into it I got an error saying:

"project file "blah blah blah.csproj" could not be opened.

Project type is not supported by this installation."

So i was trying to figure out what was wrong and came across another error. If i try to create a new project I get an error saying:

"Requested registry access is not allowed."

I would greatly apreciate any help I can get in solving this issue.

Thank you all in advance.

yah of course. It seems to be a common problem with the 2005 version of visual basic, but none of those fixes seem to work with the 2008 version

Let me offer up the guide I wrote up: http://nick.gravelyn.com/2008/05/10/...-on-your-zune/. Includes the exact order of stuff to install and links of where to get them.

Also note that 64-bit OSs cannot deploy to Zune with the CTP. It's a bug that will be fixed for full release, but for now there's nothing you can do if you have a 64-bit OS installed.

LOL That is the exact problem one of my friends had
I don't think you need to open the project file, I think you open the solution file (.sln)

Also know that 3.0 CTP does not support 2005 at all.

You should not need to be administrator other than for installation of c# express and GS. (If you are in Vista they should automatically prompt).

C# and GS run just fine as a limited user.

Hey,
Thanks for all the great help, but it has not solved my problem. I am an administrator, I have extracted the files, I ried a bunch of other fixes from the XNA boards too, including editing the registry, which forced me to use system restore, because it really screwed with my drivers. THe problem seems to be in the registry, but I have no clue how to fix it.

Something is very messed up with your windows install... I'm not sure what to suggest other than a wipe and reisntall of the whole darn thing.
