I would like to have an "now playing"-playlist on my Zune. I mean like, adding music I would like to listen to. It's kinda annoying when you have more than 1500 songs and want to listen to maybe 30 of them at that moment. And not select one song to play, for every song.

Hope you understand

1. Tea maker that makes hot tea.

Oh wait...

Seriously, a clock, h264/mp4 support (small videos + higher video quality = sweetness), Musepack support (mpc uses very little memory but I know this ain't going to happen because it is not in the "popular" crowd) and thats about it.

I also support WMA Lossless, FLAC, Wavpack, Ogg Vorbis (aoTuV) and whatever else somebody stated that was worthwhile and good. Though I could really use that clock so I don't have to wear a watch. heh heh

I just don't understand why Microsoft is waiting so long to release updates. That is if they even release any updates at all. I believe this might just be all talk by Microsoft with no real plans for improving the device. Why would they wait until 2008 to release game support for the Zune? A whole year that is crazy. Podcasts have not even been mentioned. I wish Microsoft would tell us what the hell they are working on.

There are so many things that could be easy implemented that would greatly improve the device. I don't think that we should have to wait months and months for any kind of improvement.

Is there any sources of information that would derive us some new insight.

1. clock with Alarm and sleep timer
2. wider video format support
3. ability to view all songs by an artist, not just by album
4. password protect
5. ability to enqueue songs while another song is playing, so i don't have to wait for current song to finish, kind of like the quick list, but quicker.

They are giving us insights, zune-online is the website that tells almost everything thats happening in the zune world. One of their newer post says that Microsoft and Media Rights People are going to have a meeting discussing the 3 plays 3 days rule and might, eliminate or make it longer. It also has from an unconfirmed source a list of new updates that they are going to make.

I just hope we get something going hear. I'm tired of people putting the Zune down for features that could easily be added.

If it is OK with everybody, I would like to compile a list of these and send them to Microsoft Any objections?

No objections from me . If you pre-write letter and post it in the topic, I will send a copy of it(with My name etc) to MS as well. I'll even print it out and psychically mail it to them .

Like the previous statements

A Clock with an Alarm would be nice for those nights in hotels with no alarm clocks
A better way to use the Wi-Fi other than sharing and eliminate or lengthen the 3-3 way deal
A better way to organize things.
Something to catch the eye of other people who say the Zune is crap like more Firmware updates with stuff the iPod can't offer.

Zunemarket place needs to have some Zune Casts or at least an alternative website that will be zune compatible.

For 14.95 a month, I would rather keep my tunes I download from MS then lose them if I stop the service. Sometimes you just can't pay that every month.

More games. Maybe a way to transfer your XBox 360 Arcade games to the zune. (Of course not the 3D ones).

the list can go on and on. but so far I think its better than iPod.
