I just got my 120GB today and there's two things that are bugging me.

There's no multiple tag support. i.e. tagging an mp3 with multiple artists or genres and having that music show up in multiple categories.

Asian font support. Or, a lot more international text support. I just sync'd some Japanese music and the artist's name appeared as squares. Now I have to go through and anglicize all the names.

I believe the lack of an equalizer is a hardware thing, not a firmware thing. I keep thinking it should be possible for there to be a software equalizer, but I don't know.

Well both of the things I wanted were not in the 3.0 update. Maybe we need to find a way to get to MS in a more direct way. They can't know people want this stuff if it isn't obvious.

I just noticed that the Zune can display Cyrillic characters but not Asian ones. What's up with that.

Actually, go to settings->Music and there is a preset equalizer :P, You just can't customize it yourself

, So that's what i want a custom equalizer, and idk maybe some more features with this snazzy wifi they are making it come to!

I also liked this screen lock thing I just wished they made it so I could enable it without it going into standby first... Also hopefully 2.5 games will be able to get over to the 3.0 easily :S.

An Electronic equalizer should be possible with the hardware in the zune. all that should be needed is a program to adjust the different parts of the audio. If the volume can be changed on the current hardware then its possible to alter other parts of the audio. An animated background should also be added like the ones in windows media player. those really jazz up what you are listening to.

Another thing. How about a repeat button? Something this advanced should probably be able to repeat songs without having to go back to them and play them.

Some other cool features would be downloadable apps, wi-fi im service (of course there are already apps for this, but to have one come with a new firmware would be really helpful), downloadable video and podcasting would not exactly be a good idea because of the download time, but that could be an option. Have your Zune card show what tv shows, movies, podcasts you have been listening to... And a "status update" would be really nice as well :-)

Absence of these to features keep reminding me of my iPod.
1) Zune to be used as a HD.
2) On keeping the center key pressed, the song should be added to a quicklist. It should be one click. right now it takes 2 clicks to do that.

hmmmm i'd like to see a web browser too. i'm sure it would be a very limited one, but still would be cool. A text reader would be nice too.
One thing that would be really nice is the ability to delete content from the zune device instead of having to do it from the software.

I want a clock when you want it. not as a game or application, just included within the Zune. Otherwise, I hate the new shuffle way, I want that to be fixed, like the 2.0! It's very gay that it plays the song by titles. I have some songs with the same titles that cames from different albums (demos, lives) and they play in line. I think this is very dissapointing. Otherwise, good job on the 3.0!
