Let's see here, AM tuner functions, Radio recording, less restrictions on media sharing, down loadable themes, official wallpapers, and more editing control in the zune software.

Only thing I really want is deleting single items from the quick list.

Play Next, in both software and the device.

It Would be great if they had a optional battery count.(so you could see exsacly how many minutes you had before your Zune dies). It would be located over the battery icon.
Games
It would also be really cool if you could chat or text things to your friends.
(when your in wifi the Zune turns sideways and a mini keyboard pops up and you could select the letters with the d-pad). But you know, it's only that I'm thinking.

There's a lot of things I REALLY REALLY want my Zune to deliver. I agree with a bunch of people here, but here's my full list anyway:

[color="Black"]Digital Clock;
Wifi chat/IM to nearby Zunes; (Although I don't know how we'd type without any keyboard, but it would still be cool)
Games (I heard they're coming out with them soon);
Hard Drive Support (so I can see and edit all files on my Zune under "My Computer" [That registry hack isn't working for me]);
Sleep Timer;
Radio Recording Function;
Better Video Organizing Capability (Like the ability to create your own custom-named types, instead of being limited to just "Movies/TV Shows/Music Videos");
Text (*.txt) file Viewing Capability;
E-Mail Viewing Capability (If they can make the zune wirelessly connect to your PC through your home network, why can't they make it so that you can connect to the internet through your home network?);
Built-in Meta Data Editing for MP4s!!! (But I'd still be happy if they just made that Hard Drive Support thing, because then I can just edit the WMVs with zMeta or dSHARPiE once it's already on my Zune);
Ability to delete files from my Zune without the software;
All those cool center-click interfaces "WetWorker" mentioned;
*UPDATE* Maybe, MAYBE, even a map, like the new iPod Touch has, that would make my year. Not a built-in GPS, but a simple map that you can just enter in an adress or a name of a business and it shows you where it is, just like Google Maps. It shouldn't need an internet connection while you look for places, because it would be built in. But it would just update new addresses and stuff through the internet when you next plug in your Zune. That would be sweet, wouldn't it!?! Sure, if they did make it, it would take a few gigs away from your zune's hard drive, but because I only have about 800 songs and pretty low quality videos, that wouldn't be a problem for me!

And that's basically it! I REALLY hope Microsoft puts this stuff in their next firmware. Is there any way to contact them and directly tell them our suggestions?

You can get a DS or a PSP for that. Besides, where are you all day that would make you listen/watch all day?

A clock and a delete-on-the-go function.

Hackless (easier, not have to be syncing) ability to use the HDD for file storage ala the iPod.

AM radio for use when I am at ball game.

Getting rid of that awfully huge ugly menu font that renders custom backgrounds unenjoyable and going back to the 1.4 font.

Find me 10 people like this and its still not going to matter over the number of people that DO use it for illegal purposes. And from a business standpoint, microsoft would really eff themselves if they'd add DivX support.

(sorry, i didnt mean to sound like an ass with that, but it wont happen... now, as for hacked firmware, here's to hoping! :cheers: )

What i'd like to see? Firmware support for mp4. REAL firmware support... not Zune software support like we currently have. I wanna d-load stuff from podtropolis and toss it onto my zune w/out any conversion. Takes too damned long.

And yes, the clock thing would be great too!

Games? Yea, that'd be cool, but we wont see that for AT LEAST another year/year and a half... if ever.

OH and the full on "removable hard drive" thing would be fan-forkin-tastic as well. (then it COULD be used on Mac and Linux.... oh i can only dream of the day heh).
I have 15 MP4 movies on my 80 with out conversion. The mp4 that you are using is not for The Zune. Ex Mp4 for Psp will need to convert for the Zune.
