What do YOU want in the next firmware?

ive already posted here, but i thought of something i would love....a bass booster like cd players....

- a clock(with date too lol)
- e-book support ( or zBooks as they could be called lol )
- more file support for videos WITHOUT converting
- internet via wifi ( i mean, some of those dope french archos players have it!)
- video sharing via wifi
- games! ( the zunes interface allows more complex games to be played than the ipod - d gameboy pokemon versions would work extremely well on a zune)
- a visualization (or two) like in the zune software or WMP on the firmware itself.
- a built in metadata editor for videos in the zune desktop software.

edit: oh and multi-language support(u knw like french, german,chinese, etc.)
and an IM application on the zune(like WLM(windows live messenger)) which allows you to talk to other 'zune contacts' directly from your zune whe your connected to the net. sure it would be hard to type, but if you stuk somewhere with your parents and wana talk to your freinds since your bored.. it would be awesome. it would be even better if you could talk to your WLM contacts from your zune ( not to mention video calling with a cam attachment for zune). LOL

One very important feature that I would like, is the ability to search. Some music files I have do not have proper song ID tags. This is when the search function comes in handy.

and a clock would be nice.

A lot of good ideas here, i agree with just about everyone lol.
I would love a clock especially with a sleeper, gaming ability, be able to delete files without having to go to the computer, etc..... i should just say ditto to the former replys.

the clock is a great idea and a backround that can move gif support or flash to apply as a backround and be able to lock files i think those would be awsome

Maybe Microsoft could announce something a little interesting about the Zune so I actually start caring again.

Right now I feel like they're once again behind apple with no desire to pull ahead.

what the hell is all the damn complaining about gapped playback, if anything it is at most 3 seconds, the reason for the gap is the need to read from a HARD DRIVE which takes more power and time than a FLASH DRIVE which most ipods have. besides they could always make the next song loa like 3 seconds before the previous song ends, but then it would be(not sure how powerful the zune really is) but it would probably glitch playback(the way it does when you turn wifi on durring playback) im sure its just a failsafe to ensure un interupted playback from each song, suck it up you can last the extra second or to(sorry about the rashness of the post i didnt mean any offence towards any one idividual i am just tired of hearing it)

Yeah. I hope the next Zune doesn't have games, I want a MP3 player, not a PSP Ripoff. i hope the next thing includes wireless PC connectivity, a repeat song function that works(i heard nobodies does), and possibly a clock, and maybe more themes for the Zune. IDK what else. Something new..?

I would like to see ability to set custom flags. When I flag stuff I don't always remember why. I would use "no picture", "wrong tags", "song skips" as custom flags.
