texting would be cool, but. Am I the only one that thinks we don't need anymore mp3 players gone web surfing, i jsut find that people get thrown off if all that extra stuff is in there. i think it would be unnecessary.

web browsing and texting are unnecessary, but maybe some small widgets like weather or an rss reader or something along with the clock would be good functional additions

I have only had my Zune about 2 weeks but I definately say the Zune Marketplace needs to be better.
1. True Wifi (with the ability to turn the Wifi/Zune Wifi off independently of each other)
2. We don't need a clock - who doesn't have a watch, cell phone, or grandfather clock with them at all times?
3. True themes not hazy background pics.
4. More options in the metadata for lyrics / notes / etc.

games would be nice, Zune has a good button system for some games.

and lyrics/artist info that you can edit yourself.

how about they fix the part where u connect to the 360 and it cuts off after about 5 mins of playback while in game? i think that would be really cool if they fixed that

im phone less as of now so a clock would be nice
the ability to change the video/pic orientation (i.e. portrait or landscape)
a delete function on the zune it self would be nice
and a chipotle dispenser

how about.... if you have it on random shuffle for all artists and you come across one you like and want to hear more of you press the center button and then select show all songs by this artists.... like the iPhone. i think it would be a great addition.

2 features i would love that would just make my zune 5 times more valuable to me: Web Browsing w/flash and java enabled and also Internet Radio. There's a lot of good stations out there.

To me, internet on an mp3 player is like... writing an os in java. It can be done, kinda, but there is no way its practical.

My most sought after feature is xpatform support on the connectivity software. I know it's M$, but come on, not everybody uses Windows.

I don't know exactly what you can do with the wifi right know(I hav a zune but don't know many other people w/ zunes that I can experiment with) but I think it would be cool if one person is listening to a song if another person nearby could listen in like a radio station. i thought it was supposed to do that from the beginning though?

I think one of the simplest things to add would be a clock. It would be great to have the clock bounce around the screen like a screensaver instead of the "connected" screen when connected to the computer. A browser would be awesome, but I don't see this happening for a while, if ever. Any kind of applications would be great. Visualizations would be cool, instead of the monotonous album art. Finally, I'd like to see a better equalizer system, instead of just the presets.

Yes. A clock. Oh my god if there was one thing I miss about my iPod it would be the clock. I would also love a fully customizable equalizer. That would be rad, 'cus I'm kind of an audiophile...

What if you could sign Zune onto an XM or Sirius subscription. Like you had the option to use it as a reciever rather than the usual reciever deal you get for our car. Then a gain, it is hard to posistion the recievers to face the south side of the sky without it being in your pocket already...

The firmware really gives me hope for the Zune, like waiting for the next album from a band to be released...

As far as games go, Tetris could be done very well, if they can do it on a cell phone. But zune's can't do a whole lot of 3D stuff because it just doesn't have the power, graphicaly speaking...
