question about jumping firmwares

ok so i'm pretty sure that my zune had V1.2 firmware and then yesterday i plugged it in, in the first time for a few days and it said there was an update... and that it was updating my firmware to V1.4 so... i have a question, is the firmware V1.3 included with V1.4??? and if not is my zune missing files from the update V1.3?? i'm so confused??

You can jump firmwares, because they overwrite previous firmwares, not add to them.

All firmware updates come with files from the previous one, so 1.4 includes the updates from 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 AND 1.4. No worries.
