Im hurting to ask this question....

but how do i get these firmwares onto my zune and with each updated firmware are the contents of the previous firmwares included or do i have to download each one?

Zune program should automatically update your zune and your zune program
when a new firmware comes out

True, you can also check manually, I think you right click the name of your zune in the zune software, a menu will pop up and you click "Check for device updates".
