I know other folks have mentioned it, but I am mentioning it again.
Ok, I can understand if Audible won't work. I am fine with that, sort of. But I would like it if the zune could remember my spot on a podcast... |

i would like to see a power option so i dont have to hold down and back button. just a power off that i can select from the menu. plus being able to record from the radio would be nice. and a way to delete from inside the zune. i listen to alot of podcasts and video podcasts. and i hate when i have to sync to delete them all the time.

Um... Clock alarm would be awesome... maybe set sleep timer... um... I would also like to see more playlist options... like Smart Playlists... Those really were great and made things less hassling... I don't like how I can't access my QuickPlaylist so I can make a playlist from it! Saving the Quick Playlists would be nice... Um... Yeah Crossfades would be nice... I don't really see the need for Vid transfering... that would take wayyyy too much battery power and not to mention the restrictions they'd have to put on that.

It would be nice to be able to access Zune as a hard drive (network share) through a WiFi connection.
By this it will be possible for A/V amplifiers that have ethernet connection (http://www.yamaha-uk.com/av_amps_rec...product_id=160) to access directly Zune and stream its music to big speakers! |

Gapless playback, podcast section in menu, video sharing (unlimited), wireless sync, wirelessly download tracks from hotspot, movie/tv shows downloads in marketplace @ 640/480 like iTunes, clock, be able to partition a section off drive for file storage, wav, audible, divx support and clock.

I need to beable to add audobook tracks and mark them someway or set them apart so that they dont play when i select shuffle.. This way I can shuffle all my music at the gym and not hear music, music, audiobook, music, etc.. I tried to make a music only playlist but the thing has a bug where it will not sync a large playlist over 2000 songs... So I cant even work around this.. Why the hell is there no Audiobook folder.. Seriously there are move audio files out there other then music.. PLEASE atleast flag the audiobook or speech genre as not to shuffle..

Clock/alarm, calendar function, games (I think I heard something about a deal with Popcap Games, that would be sweet), more marketplace content (videos?), and podcast support.
Note to the public: The Zune program is currently capable of supporting podcasts (MS even has the dang menus and managing page for them), all Microbux has to do is flip a dang switch to get them rolling. Additionally, the Marketplace has the functionality for internet radio and video content all there in the code, they just need to actually get this stuff started. What I'm really wondering is, why are they taking so long to make available the capabilities the zune/zune program has had from the very beginning?

Why is MS so excited about getting games out the door when they gotta work that Wi-Fi and that big screen to do something useful?
@ deek05 You can play zune on anything that has an audio jack. My logitech 5.1 speakers can play through zune. ..And audible is definitely possible as there is already a bookmark feature in zune (bookmarking movies). All they have to do, really, is add a section like they did with "community" and get it up and running . Last edited by nighthawkz6 : 04-29-2007 at 04:47 PM. |
