You must go in the Zune software, Options>Sync>Update Firmware (orsomething like that)

Tell me if you get it, I had the same problem.

Right click the top of your Zune Software, then go to "Sync --> "Your Zune Name" --> Update" or something similar like that.

AMAZING patch IMO. I really didn't notice anything regarding the skipping issues but I definitely saw some CPU improvement. It works much faster and that is important when you want things, and you want them now. I have noticed that I had to take my Zune out while I'm on the train and I don't like to fiddle around with it so sometimes things didn't even respond and I had to wait 2 seconds for it to respond back. Glad to see CPU lag bug fixed.

other than that: features, features FEATURES!!!

I personally didn't see anything added, except like nighthawk said the menus respond a little faster, and the drm issue is probably fixed.

Theyve sorted out the bugs
But i wanna know when theyre gonna add more features!! This is crazy, it has been like 6 months since zune came out. I need something new!!

nope, exactly four months.. i once heard they were going to do 9 or 10 updates a year.. so, they seem to be on schedule so far.

this is exactly what it keeps telling me.. anybody have a different way to update? like manually through the USB hack? because the normal way isnt working for some of us

Mine is doing the same....it is telling me that it is updating and after minute or two it fails saying can not change sync settings at this time...... I've performed reset but still no luck.... If someone figures it out please let us know.

i like it so far. responds a lot faster. easier to quickly click through the menus. i never noticed the prob w/ the FM tuner or skipping...but hey - if they say they're fixed then cheers

yeah the firmware 1.3 rocks.

Microsoft has really outdone themselves.

the sleep function, calendar , alarm clock and organizer is too cool. im feeling the sleep function the most.
