3.0 released too soon?

Ok so I've updated to the new firmware and great there are a whole lot of new features yet none of them work. I can no longer use my zune pass it claims I have 3 or more computers attached and need to delete one to continue using it. Yet when I look at the computers and devices none show up. Next I linked my account to my zune so that I could try and use the pass via wireless. Now it won't even connect to the media place.

Great they gave me two free games but now all the old ones don't work. I guess I can reload them but still.

Also now I can no long listen to tracks directly from the zune when hooked up to the computer. I have to have them in my media list which means that hooking up as a guest does me no good from another computer.

Enough of my ranting. I checked their forums and I'm not the only one experiencing issues so I guess my question is: Did they release the firmware too soon?

I myself haven't experienced a single problem and from the help requests so far, 99% involve an UnZoone and firmware wipe, and the other 1% are things that just need to be sent in for repair.

It is amazing how I never have problems with something, then somehow several people have issues with it. It happens all too often. No... It was not released too soon. It works fine for me. There will always be people that manage to mess something up.

Ok so my ignorance I had never heard of or used UnZoone but I have now. I used it and wiped my install clean away. I then re-downloaded and set everything back up. Still I have the same issue. I can't use the pass because it thinks I have too many computers using it and it still doesn't show anything under computers and devices.

Can anyone else play music from their zune using the software while its connected to the computer?

edit: Damn now I'm getting Error Code: C00D12EA while trying to simply play tracks from the marketplace.

The exact thing has happened to me! Also, when I search for help for that error code (c00d12ea) I get no results. Has anyone gotten any useful advice? This sucks!

Anyone else who is having this issue also do a free trial long ago when you first bought your Zune? I wonder if this is an issue. I don't mind purchasing a couple of months of the pass again but I hate to be wasting days while waiting for the "more than three computers" issue to be resolved.

I had this problem updating to Zune 2.0...all you need to do is call 1-800-GET-ZUNE and speak with a customer service representative and they can reset your account and erase all computers and devices associated with you account. Problem solved...

everything works fine for me except the Channels. All i get is an empty channel section under music. No matter what i do it says"no items". Kind of sucks. I really wanted to try channels out.

Same problem here. I have two zunes linked to one acct/zunepass (80 and 8). Channels are fine on the 80, but are empty in the 8. I did subscribe/sync with the 80 first.
