Zune Firmware 3.0

sup all i have a zune 2nd gen 80gb and i heard that the new zune 3rd gen has quite a lot more battery life to it.

I was wondering would upgradeing the firmware add more battery life to my zune or is it more or less better hardware in the 3rd gen?

i dont think the firmware will do much, if anything to the length of the battery life

ya i also heard that when the zune 2 came out it came with new firmware, and when u upgraded the original it updated codecs which were more efficient so wasnt sure if this was the case or not...
