Default Zune rebooting?

I have a 30G zune (1st gen). It will randomly reboot itself for no apparent reason. Does anyone know why and if there is a fix for it?

You could try resetting ur zune(back+up)
You could try a hard reset(back+left+center) which will delete everything on ur zune(media and firmware)

Do a hard reset. That should fix it. And did you ever take it apart? You might have static electricity problems..

There are 3 theories about this and neither of the above suggestions will fix it.
1) The headphone jack through out all models can some times come loose and this will cause it to reset as a safety measure.
2) A build up of a static around the device will caus it to shutdown (and reboot if it is unlocked)
3) There is a flaw in the new firmware that has yet to be found and pinned down.

There is a very long discussion on the zune.net forums with the QA and firmware dev's but i dont have the link for it any more

I'm an automotive technician, and I have my Zune in my left front pocket of my coveralls all day. In the last 3 days, my Zune has reset probably 12 or 13 times, and every time it's happened, it's been as I'm getting out of a car, and my butt is sliding off the seat. I'm sure that in my case, it's a static issue. The atmosphere must have been just right in the last few days for there to be tons of static electricity, as evidenced by my Zune resetting all the time, and additionally, by the fact that I can't get within 2 inches of something metal without getting the bejeezus shocked out of me.
