On my way home from work today messing with my Zune, I thought, wouldnt it be great if it had a radar detector built in? its got wireless in it how hard can it be?

Well, you gotta open up the device and work with the hardware to get this even remotely optional. Then you got to mess with the firmware to get the Zune to see the radar, but once you do that, your set. It's just getting it that'll be hard.

Radar detectors aren't even very useful anymore. Most cops now use lasers to check speeds and the beam that they shoot is only about an inch in diameter from 100 yeards away. It's almost undetectable.
