Is there any other place I can get this firmware? Or some way to fix this? thanks!

in order to get the latest firmware you need to update the software. you dont left click anything anymore to update the device. I guess your just going to have to deal with the new software.

Can I just say how these updates with no explanation are a little exciting and little annoying. I love finding little easter-eggs, but I also hate the fact that I have little idea of what I am adding to my Zune.

Yo, the new firmware is crazy, my battery didn't even drop below half way today at school(I listened to it pretty much the whole day and I showed my friends some videos).when I updated to 2.1 I noticed a big difference because of the battery but now, it's even better then 2.1 ..... it's 2.3! Sweet!!

The "new" podcast feature is months worth of old news. The only thing different is the unsubscribe. 2.3 is only a stability update for battery and syncing as stated on Zune Insider.

The ability to unsubscribe is what I was talking about. I'll take anything that they add at this point as a good sign. It shows that they are listening. Hopefully soon we will get an update to the software.

I definitely think they made it faster. For instance if I would middle click on a song to rate it, then rate it, then hit back to go back to the playing and it would have a 2-3 second delay. Now it is almost instantaneous. Everyone else check it out and let me know if I am making things up.

weird. maybe it resynced your stuff and it took up double the space? people have been having syncing problems since forever. it would just resync itself for no reason causing you to have duplicates of everything.

for me however, it seemed like the battery life is SHORTER instead of longer now. maybe it's because i havent fully charged it really since i've had my zune, which has been almost 3 weeks now lol. seems like an awful weird coincidence though. right after i updated too...

It also changes the play all to go by album instead of alphabetically
