30Gig upgrade help

I know I am in a crowded boat here but....

On our 30 Gig the download went smooth but the music wont play. It says can't find file. I tried changing the file name to let the music file's rebuild themselved but that didnt help.

Should I delete anything before trying to reload the new firmware or should I just reload it and see what happens?

If I had to delete everything and start over I could..but I'd rather not.

Music won't play on the zune? or in the zune software?

If it won't play on the zune I would backup your content and to a hard-reset.

When I try to play music with my Zune player...not the software it says...

The Item is Missing or can't be played.

I tried the hard reset and nothing. WHen I connect to my PC is shows the music and the available storage...for that matter the Zune shows the music, it just wont play it.

Thoughts?

I have searched the help files and have come up empty. I did try the renaming of those two files the "Currentdatabase" and the "Zunestore" files and it didnt help me play music.

Scratching my head here.

For anyone who might read this and who might have the same problem. If you reboot your Zune and erase everything except your firmware, then reinstall your files they will work. At least they did for mine. Of course I backed up what I didnt want to loose.

Before we did either update my brother and i both offloaded our zune content to our hdd's. then we did the sofware and firmware and reloaded our content back to our zunes and no problems.. Go Zune!!!
