Re-run the installer and re-uninstall.

It won't install because it says it is already on my system.

Maybe download some specialized uninstall program (ex. Your Uninstaller)

Just an update.
I reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled windows. I was about due for that anyway and I am glad I did it now.
I installed all the windows updates, WMP 11, IE 7, then the Zune software. No problems at all. New firmware installed easily on my zune. Wireless sync settings installed perfectly.
Now I am extremely happy with the new software and I am sure it will get better with the help of the folks here at this forum.
Cheers!

I had the same problem and I tried the "Your Uninstaller" and it didn't work. Every time I try to install it just keeps saying it had an error and I should close all programs and restart my computer and try again.

I really don't want to have to reformat, I've finally got everything where I want it on my computer. Except for my Zune.
