Sears has definately the most sucess rate. The lady that I called told me flat out they accept online printouts for price matches. However there's a major problem..... Sears doesn't sell 80 Gigs it only goes as far as 8 GB. I checked the sears website and asked the lady. Failure.... Once again

Yea, I went to sears aswell, and I almost had it made, but they didnt have any. The guy checked online, and it seems sears doesnt sell the 80gig zunes. Circuit city flat-out said that they wouldnt honor my printout, and bestbuy checked online just to make sure, and saw that the price was back at 250, so they wouldnt honor it. Curse my luck

wow after all this stories it seems i'm one of the "luckey ones"

but u guy keep showing them the printout, try showing the pdf format. and try tell them that you tried to come at the day it was sold but you/your parents dont have time to give you a ride. and try get your parents to defend you.

I figured I had nothing to lose so I took this to my local BB. The young lady said "Sure, I'll pricematch that." She had the Zune 80 scanned, had my credit card in her hand...then decided that the price had to be for a Zune 30 and checked the walmart website. FAILED. Oh, well, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I PM'ed to Toys R' Us's black Friday price of $79, and the price difference was over $100, so I also got 10% off of that, making it like $65 before taxes. I think it came out to $72 after taxes. After that, I was going to take back one that I bought at a local place called ABC Warehouse (PM'ed for $100), who says they beat all deals, but when I went to return it, they said that they would match the Sears price....so I got two for $72 each. I sold one to my brother in law. It was one of the best deals I've ever gotten!

me? if you are talking to me then no, i went to circuit city and they checked on website, but after that i went to Best Buy and instantly i showed them the printout the accepted and agreed to pricematch!

i did it today [ april 14, 2008 ] it worked like a charm! took it to best buy. and they did a price match no questions asked! make sure you take the paper that says its IN STOCK! they wont take it if it says out of stock online.

The first two times i failed since the paper i brought in said it was out of stock online. if you use the one that says its in stock...at best buy... it should work. circuit city needed todays date in order to do it...and best buy (the 1st time) couldnt do it because it said "out of stock online" on the sheet of paper. They checked online but it wasnt online anymore...so they just gave up. the 3rd time...they did it no questions asked. (a different best buy store of course. dont want them to know its a fake =] )

unfortunate that they didn't have any 80GB models... at least someone could take the walmart printout, paste over the pic of the 80GB unit with walmart's own pic for the 8GB, rename the text from 80 to 8, and you end up with a pretty good deal anyway, especially with the 10% price match they have.

completely dead deal now... gonna be not able to price match anymore.... walmart putted the zune 80 back on the website... listed at $247.88... unless the people there working is stupid to check online..

it really depends, if they check online, your deal is no good... since i went to 3 bestbuy already.. they had to check online and call.. now walmart readded zune back on.. at the price of $247.88.
