I bought this for my laptop but then I found that I could use with both my ipod and my zune which is awesome and really versatile.

Instead of buying different speakers for the zune, ipod, laptop, or other devices, this is the best to buy!

$50? i guess they raised the price up this week.. its usually $20 after rebate $20 from CC and $10 from Logitech, sounds aren't bad, tried it at circuitcity a couple times.

Oh man guys I have this myself!! I got it for like $30 though a long time ago.
Pros:
Sounds great, speakers and bass is great. Cheap price even for $50.
Cons:
SO MUCH WIRES!!! and you can't really fit your Zune30 on it like it shows the iPod.
Good find PoN!! +Rep
EDIT: Gotta spread some rep before I give you more :]
Also don't forget to include the price in the title, I edited it for you.

eh, I just run a male to male 3.5mm plug from zune to my audio input on my computer, I already have Logitech X-230 speakers. They sound pretty good but you can hear quite a bit of port noise from the sub sometimes and it's the same sub in that pic.

they were cheaper then that at best buy, when i bought em they were 40 bucks. i got a nice spread across one whole wall, all the wires aren't bad, just don't have em all together, they are easily separated.

I would suggest spending a little more at least get the Z4 series speaker system, the mids and highs are cleaner and the bass is fuller and more precise. This particular system retails for $99

I think there's more factors to consider, like s/n ratio, THD, sensitivity, freq response, etc. We don't even know what brand he's talking about, or what material the cones and tweeters are made of, or what type of housing they're stored in

Hi,
Yeah, you are right. I thought he was talking about Logitech only, actually Logitech is waving in mind.

Thanks for your find out,

Unfortunately, it was a red dot clearance at Circuit City.
They'd cost $300 regularly.

I've seen some beasts go cheap on ebay though.

I'm not worried about it, I just ordered a pretty sick setup today and it cost me a little over $200, but the SQ is head a shoulders above and beyond any Logitech offering.

For my main speakers I got Behringer MS40 powered monitors $110

And for the bass I got a Dayton Audio SUB-80 $95
