Need Advice...Zune A/V dock in my car
Okay here is the setup. I have an 08 lancer with the navigation/multimedia system. It has A/V input for Auxiliary video and/or audio. I picked up a Zune A/V dock (with remote) on clearance at Target for $12.48. I mounted the dock in front of my shift console and it looks pretty slick. If I disable the GPS, I can have the Zune display on the nav screen, which is awesome.
My idea was that I could connect the dock directly to the a/v input in my car, and power the unit by a cigarette lighter adapter that has a USB plug.
Problem is, that I get tons of vehicle noise/interference. I tried running the cables further from each other and it didn't help. Any ideas, suggestions?
