Default Zune Soundgate Issues?

For those of you that also have the Zune Soundgate stereo adapter, does your Zune backlight constantly stay on while playing music?

Mine does and it drives me crazy, especially at night. Is this how they all work with the Soundgate?

On the Device
1) Click on Settings
2) Click on Display
3) Click on Backlight til it is set to OFF
4) Enjoy

Quick fix, but should work for what you want, and some connections seem to do that. Like just syncing it with the computer sometimes the device will have its backlight on all the time until I break the sync.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm too lazy though. I don't want to have to keep turning it off and on for day and night

Hopefully the Zune HD will work a bit differently. Or will hopefully work at all with the Soundgate.

It could be the Soundgate itself, it could have been designed to keep the backlight on through the connection...

If that is the case it wouldn't matter what Zune got plugged in.
