iPod shuffle dock adapter for possible use with Zune?

So Belkin has this new product coming out. From what I've ascertained it works as a go-between for the new model ipod shuffle. It doesn't have the same line-output as the other ipods, so Belkin designed this to adapt the two.

What I'm curious about is if the headphone jack input will accept any sort of sound. It should, right?

I'm wondering because I could buy a male to female headphone cable from radioshack and this adapter and be able to hook my zune into my bose ipod speakers. Riiight?

It does say "universal Dock" so i'm guessing it should work
