Default Avoid belkin products....

Ok, I will never from this day forward buy another belkin product. Why? They plain suck. I bought a belkin Zune case and it was HUGE and made my Zune huge. It was a acrylic case and when I finally took the Zune out, my hold button popped out. I was about to exchange it(Zune), though I simply used a knife to put it back in. I then used the included Zune pouch for a couple of weeks. Then I decided to give belkin another go. I bought a belkin zune screen protector and there were air sacs all over the place. I simply took it out just to clean the Zune screen and came back with a bunch of bubbles. Belkin screen protector= $8. Very expensive for the week that it lasted. I'm going to have to buy another one because they're the only screen protectors that I can get without having to go far since I'm limited to where I shop esp. online. I'm leaning torwards that sexy DLO Leather case which looks absolutely beautiful and stylish. I saw it on J&R for $20 and I am thinking of getting it.

bottom line: avoid belkin products and go with other alternatives such as DLO and Vaja if you got the money.

It's a matter of personal taste, really. Though, the belkin case I have may be cool for some people but not for me. I just put my belkin case on zMall if anyone wants to check it out..It's perfect condition too.

I disagree. I bought a Belkin Zune holster about a month ago for $18 including tax, and it has the screen protector built into it.

My nice belkin leather/microfiber case has been serving me well for about 4 months now. I don't know what you have against Belkin, but their products work for me just fine.

I got the belkin folio case.... it make the zune kinda bulky, but I don't mind, it hangs off of my belt loop, and has a sexy micro fiber interior and leather exterior. Some times the microfiber lint gets between the screen and the screen protector, but I just whipe it off, and it doesn't come back for a few days... sometimes more..., but over all It's a great product.

pros:
It serves as a stand so I don't have to hold it. I can set it on my lap, or my desk
hookes up to my pants (my pockets get tight when i'm on my bike)
doesn't slid around when I drive (becaues the microfiber sticks to my dash)
It's sexy (yellow and black, some people don't like it, but I do)
it's got a tri fold design and covers the completely
Hard to steal when on my pants

Cons:
lint from the micofiber inbetween screen and protector.
the middle button ring and button are inset (a little hard to get used to)
the play and back button can be pressed accidentally.

I've never used any other zune cases, but I've seen them, and I don't really like them. people get their mp3 players stolen because the use a pant clip, and people can just walk up take it and run. They can't to that with mine because I use the wrist band to loop around onto my belt loop.

I made the same mistake in buying that same case.

It made my Zune HUGE! Then I would have no defense when people comment on how big it is because let's face it...the case just extenuates its size.

i love my dlo case. i absolutely hate belkin stuff anymore. their cases always look like they were stitched by a pirate with 1 eye and two hooks.

Nice, I got the same one! The only thing is that I accidentally press the middle button when I'm navigating. It happens alot and really ticks me off. Other than that, it's a pretty cool case, don't you think

Blah, sounds like some bad luck.

Get the DLO Folio case. I have it, and it is great. It adds very little extra size to the Zune, while offering great protection. There are only two bad things to it:
1.) I found it a little hard to squeeze my Zune in it, but hey, a tight fit = it won't slip!
2.) The plastic screen protector will sometimes get stuck to the screen. No biggy, just gotta pull up on the thing to get it unstuck. Just really a small bug, nothing big.

Good luck with your Zuning!

Belkin has some good and bad sides

Bad: is pretty much what happened to you

Good: I have a screen protector from them and I get no air sacs because I smooth out my screen protector to get rid of those air sacs

I think you just got some bad luck there

I gave that case a try to see if It was compatible with the FM transmitter, it is THICK! and I too almost jamed my hold switch. good thing I work at a small retail store that I was able to try it out before I would have made a big mistake.
I got the agent 18 case instead.

yeah it's pretty cool. I used to press the middle button too. But I just got used to it, and now I have no problems.

i bought this acrylic case to, i removed the film of plastic off of it(mistake1) and now i have i guess "micro" scratches, very small very hard to see when the zune is on. and honestly it has to be @ a glaring angle to see them. infact ive never noticed them while watching a video/pic or anything at all that isnt like 100% darkest of blacks.

i can deal with that... somewhat.

after buying the acrylic case, i today went and bout the AV cables...well lets just say incompatible is the word best fitting this scenario.

what really has happened is, the jack for the AV into the zune does not go deep enough to recieve a video signal. if i take the case off it works great i am currently watching Aqua Teen from my zune while its in the cloth pouch

thinking about how to "fix" the case, perhaps by slightly melting it a little larger or... shaving down the case to help get a deeper plug. and since its counter sunk well it shouldnt be to hard to modify it, but still i dont know if i should for fear of ruining a pretty good case.
