Default FM transmitter?

Hey guys. Hey guys. my older bro gave me his old truck and i want to play my music off my zune in the car. the problem is his radio does not have a cassette player or a aux slot. so basically, i can either get an fm transmitter or an entire new radio. i think the transmitter will be cheaper. i found a few but the original car pack is 70$. the seller looks legit though:

NEW MICROSOFT ZUNE CAR PACK KIT FM RADIO TRANSMITTER - eBay (item 400034791300 end time Apr-02-09 08:59:18 PDT)
MONSTER CABLE RADIOPLAY 300 FM TRANSMITTER IPOD, ZUNE - eBay (item 400031841898 end time Mar-19-09 01:13:08 PDT)

Amazon.com: Scosche Audio FM Modulator -...Amazon.com: Scosche Audio FM Modulator -...
Amazon.com: iriver AFT 100 Mobile FM Transmitter:...Amazon.com: iriver AFT 100 Mobile FM Transmitter:...
i basically just want good quality music and i used this tool to find the clearest empty stations:

Belkin : my best FM stations

Thanks!

I would recommend getting a new radio. For use indoors next to a simple radio, they might be just fine. But my friend has one in his cellphone and you can always here the low Hiss and lack of musical range through a vehicles speakers. The general consensus when it comes to FM transmitters is that few are good and many are simply bad. I have heard removing your antenna helps though.

i have a 2001 Mazda b2500 SE =)

the problem with getting a whole new radio is that getting a new radio would range between like 50-80$ and thats getting it off ebay. if you want it installed correctly and professinally, radio shack does it for like 20$. so that is basically 100$. if i can get a fm transmitter or something else for 20-30$, i think that would be worth it rather than paying 100$.

I use this, with my Zune 30:

DealExtreme: $7.50 Full Range FM Transmitter with Digital Thermometer and USB Power Port

Granted, it's not perfect. On a long trip, I had to re-configure it a few times once the stations changed. However, you can do this while driving with little effort. The SQ is acceptable to me, but it can drop or get distorted at times. I felt it was a low cost solution to my problem, plus I can use it with my other DAPs.

Keep in mind that this ships from Hong Kong, so the wait time will be several weeks at least.

VERY similar, correct. And yes, the thermometer seems a bit silly. But, it was the cheapest one I could find....
