has everybody heard of the zagg invisible sheild, well you should know,
it sucks
leaves many air bubbles
hard to put on
(the scratch test(i did myself) proved horrible and the thing will grabb at point and stretch easily)
is not very clear
Most problems with Zagg invisible shield are because people put them on improperly as it requires a wet application. If you apply it properly, they are one of the best screen protectors available.

they are good screen protecters but stuff like a knife will really make scratches and stuff but i watched videos and stuff on how to do it and i did it exactly the way your supposed too. but the screen part is fine and shiny im just talking about the back and top. the top for mine would not stay on at all so i cut it off and every thing is fine
they are alright (never tested it myself but seen many test videos).. it is just about how you put it on... if you don't know how to apply it on.. then of course it sucks.

Otherwise, try Best Skins Ever (Best Skins Ever, Inc. Home Page). They're WAY cheaper than Zagg's stuff, and just as good, if not better. People say they're made out of the same material, which is probably true. But I find that Best Skins Ever are a little easier to put on, because the adhesive slides around easier (until it dries, of course. Then it's stuck GOOD.). Not only are BSE way cheaper and easier to apply, but I think they're also cut to cover just a little bit more of the player than Zagg's skin.
I've used both BSE and Zagg, and I can say that I'm much happier with the BSE.
You should be giving yourself a thumbs down for the bad installation. I've used Invisible Shields on multiple MP3 players, they are the clearest screen protector I've used, and there are zero bubbles when applied correctly. You do have to wait for the shield to set completely, maybe a day or 2, before it is at its clearest. I've also used products from Bestskinsever, and they're almost as good, but I find the Invisible Shield to be slightly clearer. Both times I've used the BSE product, I've been able to see slight lines. If they really use the same material, this may be due to difference in adhesive. The BSE skin does cover more of the Zune than the Invisible Shield, which leaves the corners exposed. I'd recommend either if you want to guard against scratches, and I also like that they improve grip. Of course, a case is needed if you want to protect against impact damage.

And try the other brand PhantomSkinz. I hate to self post and hopefully you will be tolerant as we supply 2 complete screen skinz for the price of 1.
Feel free to ask me any technical questions as well.
Well I got them for my Zune 50% off with the coupon code they posted in the news section earlier this month. If they work half as well as they claim with "Military Grade" written all over its packaging then frankly I think it is worth it even at full price to protect my Gears of War Zune 120 that I already spent $260~ on.
Its easier to swallow if you think of it as protection/insurance on an investment to keep it safe.
And I will have to double the claim that if you have bubbles and like then they are the result of user error not Zagg's fault. It is written all over the place and if you did your research EVERYONE will tell you they are hard to put on and unless you got steady hands and are willing to invest 30-60 minutes in its application then it is very much not to you.
You thought application on the Zune was hard?! Try doing it on a rounded Ipod Touch now that my friend was a bitch... but in the end totally worth it.
i agree but it took like 30 to put on and i still got bubbles. and the knife part i had a knife in my pocket and it sort opened and scratched the screen coover part all up
I do not understand how it took you guys 30 minutes to it put on? Following the instructions on the box, I had mine put on in less than 10..I must've done something wrong? Did I? But then again, it was for the 8gb.
But, I am having a problem. I followed the directions to a tee, and mine seems to have specks on it. The instructions told me to spray the spray on both sides of the screen..was I not supposed to put it on the adhesive side? The specks seem to be light reflecting off the spray or something like that. Is anyone else having this problem? Do these specks go away? If they don't then this was a waste of money. If I followed their directions exactly and ended up with a less than clear screen, that was a waste of 11 dollars.

It's possible that you trapped dust under the shield. Did you wipe down the player, clean your hands, apply the shield in a clean place? It's also possible that you're seeing little bubbles that will disappear once the shield dries fully.
I wiped the player with the microfiber thing and made sure it was clean. I sprayed my fingers and such, so far the specks have not disappeared after 24 hours. Should I be worried?
When you say there's light reflecting off the spots, does it appear as if the shield itself looks like it has tiny prismatic areas? If that's the case, it could be that the shield itself is defective. I have heard some people had this problem. My own shield has just one tiny area which is prismatic. It becomes visible when the Zune is on and light shines through.
The other thing is that even if you used the microfiber cloth, dust from the air can settle on the screen during application, and if you used copious amounts of the wetting fluid, it can cause the dust to become visible once it dries.
I actually applied my shield in the bathroom with the shower running so the steam would pick up any floating dust which could settle on the screen. Applying the IS was a real pain in the ass, but once perfectly done, it is awesome.
I find that the rear shield is pretty unnecessary if you are reasonably careful with your Zune - took mine off after my Zune came back from rapidrepair, and it was looking a bit funky at the corners (starting to catch dirt / peel).
