Default [SOLVED] 2-3 years later, are there ANY good Car Adapters/transmitters?

I bought my zune shortly after noticing it existed, and because I didn't like (or own) an iPod, and had a crappy 512mb MP3 player.

I got a nice belkin leather case to keep the screen scratch-free and keep the Zune OK for minor falls ...

I also picked up a 10$ FM Transmitter that worked half-assed and stopped working in a few days =/

Its been some time since then, and my girl got a zune recently, and a new car

I am wondering if there is finally a GOOD car adapter or transmitter for the zune?

Doesn't iPod do this well? Why has it been years and we can't get a good one for zune?! Anyway if there is one I wanna get it for my GF My car's too old/crappy for adapters/transmitters =P

i personally like the zune branded car pack
Zune.net | Product Detail - Zune Car Pack

what i like about it is that the arrow buttons on it will scan local radio stations to get the best signal and you can save the good station

Mmmmmm, thats exactly the one I was looking at, but where I saw it, it had 500+ reviews, and most of them said it wasn't transmitting well.

It looks nice Out of my personal experience of a bad transmitter, I'd had to get one for my GF only to find out it sucks.

It may just be the radio stations, there's a lot of towers all over my county here in FL.

Edit: My mistake, I was looking at a "different" zune car pack, there's different models? Is this one better audio quality?

What is the difference between that model, and this model? NEW MICROSOFT ZUNE CAR PACK FM TRANSMITTER AUTO CHARGER - eBay (item 130276056815 end time Dec-18-08 08:00:15 PST)

Edit: She has either the zune 4/8/16, are these adapter/transmitters compatible?

personally, i dont think any FM tansmitters are worth it.
ive tried a few for various reasons and uses, and none of them have ever given me a good or even decent signal for more than 5min

but if it works well, then good for you!

if it does, then ill have to look into getting one.

I tried to use one of these and never had any success, but when I bought my new car, a 2008 Toyota, it has an auxillary plug that I plug mine into. Works great.
