Question Zune Remote

i was wondering if anyone knows of a way to remotely control the zune (basically i want to skip songs). i use my zune 30 on my motorcycle hooked up to the speakers on my bike. i keep my zune in my saddle bag while i ride. i havnt gone through and made playlists yet, so whenever a song has a hidden track or something, i am stuck for 5, 10, etc minutes without music. the closet thing i have found was the home docking station, which really doesnt work for me. i am looking for a remote (wired or wireless) to basically change songs. thanks for the help.

The only way to remotely control a Zune is through a dock with it's own remote. This remote will also only work when the Zune is connected to the dock.

When I ride I keep the Zune in my left jacket pocket so I can easily get to it to change songs or volume. Plus it stays with me when I get off the bike. Another option is to get an armband but the downside is that the Zune isn't as protected if you have an unscheduled dismount.

Would a remote made for the psp or ipod or something work? I'm also looking for a remote type thing, although my reason is more I don't want to take it out of bag/pocket because of laziness lol.

There is a remote of some sorts that can only be used with the zune 30. Its comes with the travel pack and it plugs into the zune sync cable spot and you can play, pause, skip songs, and change volume.

Edit: The remote is the Dual Connect Remote and it has the feature to add an addition headphone line.

Nope, not a chance.

I got my travel pack on ebay for 23.00 on a best offer bid. For the price this thing is a steal. It comes with a sleep semi-hard travel case with zune logo, a set of v1 premium headphones (also on ebay for around 21.00), an AC adapter, a sync cable, and a wired remote. The wired remote basically allows you to skip foward, backward, pause, and play using controls in the middle of the wire. The wired remote also allows you to split into dual headphone/mono out, each with it's own volume control. I can post pics? Not a bad deal for the money
