Hey, I just got a Zune 80gig and it's pretty sweet, the only thing that is annoying is - particularly when it's in my belkin hardcase - getting it out of my pocked to turn off the hold, change tracks/volume, switch the hold back again and put it in my pocked is a pain.
I have seen wired remotes floating around for the 30gig - I live in the UK and leave in 10 days to go travelling and would really like one of these, where can I get one? |

Hey, I dont think they make them for the Zune80.
Could you link me to the zune30 remote please (if its a UK site). Also did you go to the US to get your zune80? Thanks

I brought my Zune from zunethings.co.uk
I ordered last Tuesday, citing my university address for delivery and was initially unimpressed, they advertise a 3-5 day delivery period and on Monday I still didn't have it. I called up and found it very hard to reach them, they eventually responded and told me that they couldn't send it to my uni address as it wasn't my billing address, so I sent them a savage email accusing them of dishonesty and bad business practise. I got a call within an hour offering Special Delivery to arrive Wednesday - and it did. Now I've got it I'm very pleased with it, I got a Belkin plastic case which aside from the fatal error of making the "hold" switch very hard to use is very protective and solid, and the player itself is awesome. - Main selling point for Zunethings is they offer their own 12 month warranty, which bearing in mind importing one makes this void normally is excellent. - They also have the travel pack on there selling 30gig travel packs with the remote. - The only thing that would make this player perfect for me (apart from losing it's slightly patronising interface and lack of tweaking options) is a wired remote - when I'm skating in heavy shorts or carrying bags/surfboards deciding I want to change track or volume is a complete pain in the arse. |
