Default What do you consider must-have zune accessories?

So what accessories would you recommend to any zune user?
I got my 80 gig zune a week ago and just ordered a leather case, a/c adapter, and car charger from ebay today.
Anything else you consider to be essential?

An extra USB cable is a must for me. I hook my Zune up to my laptop, but when I disocnnect my Zune I ALWAYS misplace my cable. I have two or three around the house.

See, I got the AV pack for free cause they skewed up my order like 3 times.
and it's EPIC!
The dock comes with
AC charger
Remote
Composite cable

So I hooked My dock to my 500 watt stereo in my room.
(HELZ YEAH!)
It charges, syncs, and plays though my stereo.
I don't know if it's worth almost 100 dollars...
But if you get it for free, it's AWESOME!

I got most of the first-gen accessories for my Z30 at big discounts. (see separate thread on that) None of them are really essential if someone just wants a portable player. But the dock and remote add a real improvement for connecting to a home stereo. I guess you also need a charge plug to use the dock - it boosts the output just right for plugging into a stereo system. Without the dock the Zune's output is a little low.

The accessories were all way overpriced when they first came out, IMHO. But I also think Ipods and every other product from Apple are overpriced. I'm a fan of cheap generic stuff like COBY or the other off-brands.

I have always bought a lot of cheap generic junk off of Ebay and pricewatch.com. The cheap stuff usually works just as well as any brand name products. The generic stuff does tend to break more easily I guess.

The Car Pack. I use it everyday and I love it

The next thing would be the AC adapter, I often use that at night when I'm AFC

Wow, that's lucky! Yeah, it sounds cool but $100 is kinda a lot.

Thanks for the advice, I agree that generic stuff is often as funtional as the brand kind and I ordered a few accesories for my zune off ebay today.

I know but I was saying that it's lucky he got it for free. He said the regular price is $100 and I think that's a lot. Guess I should have made that clearer? Whatever.

Yeah, that's a good idea for people who misplace stuff. I usually just keep my USB cable plugged into my laptop or right next to it.

Cool, I'll check out the review and the silicon case. The zunecentive program is the thing for if you post you get zune bucks, right? (forgive me, still kinda a newbie)

Most def an arm band. I do a lot of running (among other things) to stay in shape and work out and frequently listen to music while I work out. Keeps me pumped. I would also say some kind of case to keep it protected. I don't find myself in any car that much so I don't have a car charger. I do have the AC adapter though. Very handy.

car charger is a given and also a radio tuner/audio cable to plug into your head unit. I'd like to get a case for it but I can live without it for now.

Zune accessories...
Headphones, for sure.
If you carry it around often, a nice sturdy case.
A cable to hook up to your car or stereo, if you wish.
Wall charger/car charger if you're too lazy to charge from your computer.
Cable that goes straight into a TV if you want to watch movies.

The only accessory that I really need are the headphones. I don't want anything but the Zune Premiums. They match my Zune (stupid, I know), they sound great, and they're durable. I want a dock, but it's pretty pointless.

Yeah the headphones are awesome! They have great sound quality, and I like how they are magnetic and the material the cord is made of. They are really original and it's not stupid that you like how they match your Zune, I think that's cool too.

I have the premium headphones too but I dont think they are that great, but its your opinions that count I guess. Anyways, you really need a dock/cradle to go with it so that it doesnt get thrown all over the place when you drive and easy to reach.
