Default Screen Protector-Do I even need one?

Hi,

I have a Zune 8 and am loving the durable glass screen. I want to continue to enjoy it, however, and keep it scratch free. Is a screen protector neccesary? I usually throw it in a pocket along with a par of headphones. If you do think I need a protector, what type do you recommend? I don't like the texture of the Invisible Shield, so something smooth would be preferred.

Thanks,
alec

Per most of my mobile devices screens usually cracking at some point, I use one of the clear ceramic cases for my Zune and when I take it out it looks brand new still.

I guess its just personal preference and how active you are.

if you're going to keep your zune anywhere with keys, either use the sock that it came with, or some kind of case.

I think keys are the leading cause for screen damage.

headphones probably won't damage anything as long as they're not sharp anywhere.
