Got almost all the accessories cheap now.

The Zune may have flopped market-wise, but it's given us a great opportunity to pick up some gear at closeout prices. I notice all the official Zune products come in fancy packing with elaborate info cards etc. MS must have been aiming for a Rolls-Royce kind of image. TUrned out more like the Edsel.
But hey, I like my Zune30. Just wish there was someone else to swap songs with. By shopping around in stores and the web, I've got most of the accessories at about 75% off the MSRP. E.g.:

Car charger (generic for Zune): $4.50 ebay
Zune AV cable $8 Shopko clearance
Zune dock $10 Amazon marketplace
Zune remote $7.50 Shopko clearance
Belkin holster case $11 Walmart clearance
MusicPower Encore charger/battery pack $20 Wlmt clrnce

With all these accessories, the Zune is really versatile. I like how the dock boosts the output level for connecting to a stereo receiver.

Also a suggestion to get free music without using online file-sharing: your nearest public library.

! Glad you got a dead, the stuff was marked down because it was 1st generation.

At the local flea market i frequently see official accessories for about 75% off.

we dont have a flea market where i live but i wish that we did. you can find loads of cheap zune stuff there.

That is nice to hear when people get stuff for cheap in the times like these even if they were products from the older generation.
