[REVIEW] 3 zune 80 cases reviewed

i will rate each on a scale of one to five, and two cases were purchased thru zunecentive.

first up: ghetto fabulous duct-tape-index-card DIY case


although it took about half an hour to make, it was somewhat difficult. it was basically just a novelty, because its starting unpeel. its basically index cards coated with duct tape, then cut with a kinfe to fit the screen, pad, etc. the duct tape is to thick on the top to really get in the 1/8" jack, so i had to cut a huge hole out for it. didnt really offer much protection either.
OVERALL FOR DUCT TAPE CASE:1.5/5


next up: the blue silicon case for zune 80



probably my favorite, and i think all of them are the same case, different colors tho. case comes with a screen protector, i use the strap from the acrylic on this one. silicon doesnt rip, so i can trust it jogging, which i use the cases primarilly for. the only problem is that the whole bottom is cut out, as you can see in the pictures. because of this, i run with it upside down and what they shoulda done is just had you put it thru the screen hole. there are two slits which you can put the strap thru, dont put it thru the belt loop if youre going to run with it because it swings around to much. the plastic screen protector is kinda hard to put on, and i had to clean it a couple times cos i messed up. you can clean the sticky side and the smooth with water. it comes with a belt hook and lanyard. the lanyard hooks on that thing on the side
OVERALL FOR THE BLUE SILICON CASE: 4.5/5

last up, but not least clear acryllic case for the zune 80


a practical case for just chillin, it comes with a belt loop thing, and a jogging strap. on the back theres a white take out-able thing im not sure what for. it makes the zune a little more chunky but gives it a cool shiny look. its kinda hard to get out at first, but thats a good thing. i like this case when i have my zune plugged into my car. the belt loop thing is white, and so is the lanyard. solid case
OVERALL FOR THE CLEAR ACRYLIC CASE: 4.0/5

the cut is actually deep enough i can even get my thumbnail in there.

. Yes. There was the wrist strap, the actual case, the armband, and the belt clip.

Good reviews, I should be getting my zunecentive silicon case soon (to add to my zunecentive clear crystal). So, I post my impressions as well.

Too bad you have to mount it upside down -- but as you said, "...can't really complain about a free case..."

Funny, my clear crystal case was supposed to have an armband but did not -- hopefully, the silicon will.

i have the silicon one....the black one.... it is great! i love it!

the only flaw is it is hard to put in your pocket cause it is silicone which doesn't slide against fabric...that is the ONLY problem... other than that, recommend 100%

it was harder at all. the duct tape case was the only one that hindered movement, the silicon and crystal case was the exact same as using it w/o

the only problems ive had is hooking my zune up to my guitar amp, the 3.5 mm to 1/4" plug thing wont fit in the hole on the crystal.
