So I am a brand spanking new zune user. So new that my zune hasn't even arrived in the mail yet, lol. So... recommend me a good car fm transmitter. Or I have hear you can use an aux cable to plug the zune directly into the car stereo. I have a 2003 mercury sable and have no idea whatsoever how to intall the aux cable. if anyone has a website that can walk me through it or you yourself can help me out I would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance. |

I've been through numerous fm transmitters, ranging in price from $3 - $40, and they are definitely not all the same, not by a long shot. I finally settled on the Philips SJM2306/27. I managed to score two of them on woot for like 15 bucks or so, and it's worked pretty well (much better than the Zune transmitter). It has a nice digital display, not limited to 3 channels (it goes about the entire station range), can save three preset stations, charges through the cig. lighter and was worth every penny for me. I think they may have stopped production on them, but you can still get them at Amazon for ~$15. ![]() Quote:

FM transitters suck by law. Some of them work better than others, but overall if you are in an area with logs of radio stations (which is most places), then you will have a really hard time finding a station to broadcast on.
One solution is to just simply buy a Car Stero that has an audio input port. These work for any MP3 device. The other option is to do what this guy did. This device will allow you to block all other radio signals from your stero http://video.msn.com/video.aspx/?mkt...&wa=wsignin1.0 ![]() ![]() |
