Default Quick question about skullcandy earbuds

Is it true that if you waste battery if your volume control (on the earbuds) isnt on full power?

Let me preface this by stating I do not know for certain. But headphones require energy to drive, and the more efficient the headphone/speaker the less power required to drive them.

In response to your specific question, I would believe that whatever power is required to drive your headphones would be used whether the in line volume control is set at its highest, lowest or in between point. It would neither waste or save energy (battery life).

I believe it don't waste that much battery.. but all earphones do waste about the same amount won't be crazy battery waster.

The Zune outputs an exact amount of volume through the 3.5mm port. I believe (however am not certain) that whatever is done through the volume control of the inline headphones will not affect the Zune. Its the same volume being outputted in the end.

You cant create energy- it takes the same energy to pump out the same power if you adjust it from the cord or the player and i'm certain

It won't affect battery life at all, and I can vouch for this since I use full metal jackets. It's the device volume that counts.

Any earphones that are inserted in your ear canal will block out some sound, they vary on how much though. If you're looking for a budget option, look at the JVC Air-Cushions, they're better than the crap Skullcandy sells, and they're definitely comfortable and capable of blocking out some sound. If you want to block out a lot of sound, Etymotic Research has some earphones that are great at that, but the cheapest model will run you 60 or 70 dollars.
