Default [Review] Aluminum-Lined Leather Case - Proporta

Heres my review from Gotzune.com of the Aluminum-Lined Leather Case by Proporta. Enjoy.

Quote:
First Impression’s: This case looks very nice, as it’s nearly completely leather, and is strong and sturdy as well. Black is the base color throughout the case, with clean white stitching and a silver Proporta logo/magnet clip. It’s a fairly simple design; just a leather flip case that holds the zune in place using two clip-like side pieces. To close the upper flap, a strap is used with a magnetic connector(as can be seen below). While in use this case leaves the earphone jack exposed, and the majority of the side of the zune. Unfortunately the strap does cover the sync cable, but you can easily unstrap the case to charge.

Strap holding flap closed, earphone jack exposed.

Features: For features this case is a bit self-explanatory. The cover flap has an aluminum interior, making it very strong and durable. The zune slides in fairly easy and access is easily available to all functions when flipped open. As I said, this case also features a magnetic closing strap which makes it easy to close and it stays closed. Lastly, it does have a removable lanyard.(the connecting piece can be seen on the back)

Aluminum interior is revealed inside the top flap, magnetic clip can be seen on strap, and front of device/functions are nearly completely exposed.

Dislikes: I really have no dislikes for this case; it does everything it’s supposed to do great. My only personal preference would be to have a removable belt clip on the back as apposed to the lanyard, as it seems like it would provide a more practical use. It would have been nice to see a screen protector on this case, but because of the design that really isn’t possible.

Back view of case

Closer look at magnet clip

Verdict: To sum this case up, it’s simple. It’s very well built to provide the functions it’s supposed to. It offers superb protection for the device, and looks phenomenal. Because it’s easy to use, very strong, and looks sleek, I believe it’s a great choice for a case. The case is a bit pricey, coming in at 34.95, but I can understand this price due to the very high quality material. So, If your looking to purchase this case, check out Proporta.com.

It's not for the Zune 80 . Still a good review, though. I can't rep you again btw.

Well, he sent me 5... so I still got 2 more left to review. And remember, he got the cases for free from the company's As far as the Vibes, they were an xmass present.

Edit: Thanks a bunch for all the rep everyone, I really appreciate it.

Wow, I love the contrasting stitching on it with the black leather -- very stylish. Good review.

Thanks, and yeah, the stitching does look really nice. I probably wouldn't pay 35$ for the case though, but it definitely seems like really nice quality.

Looks very nice. Do they have one for the Zune 80? Do you get to keep the cases? Because that would be awesome.

I found one for the 80. They're fairly expensive though.

Cool. However, I love my Insipio flip case. It also is a quality leather flip case but it cost only $17.

Yeah, 35$ that's why I probably would go with the incipio flip.

This looks like the absolute best case available yet. Combination of the strength of aluminum and the elegance of leather. The stitching and construction appears to be top-notch as well.

Nice review. You may want to drop the apostrophe from "impressions"
