The MX55 is the solution to dangling, poor fitting earbuds. It uses the Sennheiser Basswind(TM) system to pump rich, deep bass in a compact footprint while the patented Twist-to-Fit system locks the transducer comfortably in place. The Twist-To-Fit design prevents the earbud from shifting during movement, therefore retaining the ultimate positioning for bass response, audio phase and comfort. From the reviews on Amazon it seems like they sound pretty good. Just they look kind of weird too me...IMHO. Not a bad deal though.

It's amazing that Sennheiser is offering products in this price range -- it was not that long ago that they only offered very high end (and high prices) products.

I wonder if the "thingy" at the top acts as a bass chamber to provide/vent deeper bass response -- if so, brilliant!
