MS AC Adapter for Zune

Does anyone own one of these? would it be a good thing to have?

Or should i just make a 9v usb one

I do not have the 'official' one but I have a USB charger. I think it's nice to have so I don't have to leave my pc on all night and the charger was less than $10.

It is basically a USB Charger..

Oh and a quick warning, USB is 5V, not 9V! (You could damage the player if you feed it 9V)

Yes, he is right about it just being a USB charger. They don't all work for the Zune. It's hit or miss.

As I'm mostly sure was his plan, you can simply feed the 9v through a 7805 to drop it down

theres a couple of good stores on ebay for cheap, and made specifically for a Zune.
one of thems called summitimage. check it out
