Thumbs up Belkin TunePower

Great backup battery / battery extender device for Zune 30GB model. I have one, I got it at Sellout.woot.com for about $30, great deal! but anyway review:
both a case for the zune and a battery extender +
Doubles battery life for video / music playback: normal music 12 hours, with tunepower 24 hours. normal video 4 hours, with tunepower 8 hours. +
it has a kickstand type device to hold up the zune horizontally in wide mode for video and photo playback +
has no screen protector -
it wouldn't take much to add a simple clear plastic screen protector if they just thought about it once.

Overall its a good device, even if you have to manually connect the battery to the zune every time you put the zune into the case.. but I appreciate the doubled battery life.

You're both welcome, and thanks for the appreciation! (I think this is my first review)

I have the Tunepower also (3 of them). I watch a LOT of video, for hours and hours, and these come in very, very handy. The Tunepower holds enough to recharge my 30GB Zune 2.5 times.

The one problem folks have with the Tunepower is that it is also a case... sort of. It has a rubbery thing that the Zune squeezes into and then you plug in the power plug. I use a Belkin Folio leather case that I didn't want to stop using but the Tunepower then was too bulky with that rubber Zune holder thing sticking out away from the battery part. Well, I simply used a screwdriver to skootch off the rubber holder part from the battery part... slip the screwdriver into a spot and slide it around like one would take a tire off a rim. Pop! Off it came and now my Tunepower is a slim, trim easy thing to carry around. If I want to charge while it's in my jacket pocket I simply use my ear bud wires to hold both pieces together. You can easily open the Tunepower up to investigate the battery too. Zune is 800mAh and Tunepower is 2500mAh. Sweet! You can also pop off the silver kickstand (landscape style for video) but I left mine on so I could write on it to identify Tunepowers 1 - 3. I LOVE my Tunepowers.

Do you have any pictures of the Tunepower? I am just wondering how large it is.

TIA

Heres a link to the product:

http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-F8M027-TunePower-for-...http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-F8M027-TunePower-for-...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...kin-_-55995197

I myself bought this one:

http://www.macally.com/EN/Product/Ar...p?ArticleID=32
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16855998033

Its about $10 cheaper and it works on any USB device, not just Zunes (iPods, Cell Phones, PSP's, etc). It works well and has a battery indicator on the top (3 simple LEDs).
