Okay.. So my review of the zuneone.net silicon case

Well I have had the sillicon case from ZuneOne.net and I have to say... I don't hate it, but I don't love it either. The thing came with the screen protector broken, no biggie. The belt clip doesn't lock and the silicon makes it stretchy and weird due to the weight.. no biggie either. The biggie, IT GATHERS LINT FROM MY POCKET!!! God, everytime I pull out my zune I have to brush lint off my zune. Very annoying and degrades the look of the silicon. The silicon also feels very strange and greeasy when it comes out, but it goes away with time. I'm not to estatic about the color either. They ran out of white when i ordered and it didn't make sense to me to get black, so i got the blue. I'ts alright, but I would've perfered a dark blue. Even though it's very thin it still makes the zune slightly thicker and uncomfortable to control the zune pad. Also, my case doesn't align perfectly with my zune pad, the silver part of the zune pad is either showing or gets completely covered. The blue may also be beter in a darker shade due to the fact that having the premium buds compared to it makes it loke very awkard and not right for some reason. For the price though, I thouroughly enjoy it. It does fit slimmingly with the zune with exception to the alignment of the zune pad (but the way it's designed i can understand how the silicon might break if it was anymore smaller). Having the lanard connector on the side is convient for the hold slider and sync connections. But wearing it and using it with the heaphones makes you look very dorky. What would've been cool is if they somehow made the lanard connect and the center and work it into the headphones like the ipod nike series lanards. On the protection side it's study enough for me. The occasional drop just makes the zune almost bounce. I like it and I will keepit, but these little things tick me. Especially since the lint makes it look old and dusty. Having the the screen on high brightness though at times creates a cool almost double-shot effect where is glows a bit, but this is rare. What would be cool is if the case was able to glow completely. I want to see that happen. All this talk makes me want to devise my own case idea. But my overall review for this product from 1-10, 7. The price is fabulous. Shipping was great. Never had problems with delivery and service. I kinda want to call about the screen protector and the clip. I probally did something weird with the proctector, but I pretty sure it didn't come with adhesive to stick onto the screen. The screen protector also was very scratch prone. I hate scratches, so I just took it off. It also was for the zune 30 screen as it was slightly smaller than the real screen. this is not a big problem though because it gets all the pixels on the screen, but not the screen border. I'm now very interested in getting a crystal case. I like how the case covers the screen in the pics, but I want some color to it, but the screen gets discolored which stops me from getting it sooner. Hope you guys figure out what you like and if you want this. I'm still useing it and happy with the results, I still use it regardless of all my mishaps. But the crystal case may change my mind.

p.s. a fun thing to do with the silicon case though is drawing on it with pencil or crayola marker, it rubs right off though, but it kinda gives a certain kiddy charm to it.

Thanks for the review. I've been eyeing one of these and haven't made the leap. I'm kinda glad I didn't because those little things would make me throw it across the room!!

thanks for the review. I was looking at getting one, but now I think I'll be passing this up. I've also been looking at the crystal case, this review has definitely made my decision easier.

Oo thanks for the review, oh and the whole lint thing. That's why you should of waited to get a clear one, lint + clear = hardly see it. But yeah just ordered this case on zunecentive so... cant wait. =) But yeah pictures please I was thinking of getting the blue one but then the whole idea of lint getting on it came in to thought.

Is it the same with all silicon protectors, or just this one, cause i really liked the idea of getting one for the shock protection it provides.

I have also my eyes on the Speck Techstyle for my Zune 80 since i really want a sturdy clip.

Could you post a pic of your zune in green crystal case when you get it? I would bet the green (and blue) cases will look pretty sweet.
