anyone on here have these headphones, and if u do how do they sound...they look sweet.
are they gold plated plugs or silver, i find gold plated plugs have a better sound over all.
I bought the MS Premiums when i got my Zune in December, and personally, they are great! the sound quality is great. The bass maintains its self at high db levels. And they come with different sizes too.
I would compare these to the Bose headphones and think these would beat them out in overall portability and power.
I wouldnt mind trying something like the Skull Candy headphones, but I need a specific type of In-Ear-Headphones because the range of prices for Skull Candy is kind of iffy to me.
I bought a pair of skullcandy's very good sound quality imo(im not really into the sound being perfect), i don't notice anything wrong with the quality. I have heard people say that the left earbud goes out, but they do have a lifetime warranty to get you a new pair.

I have a set of the skullcandy buds only thing that gets me is the inline volume... I hate that... I bet the pot is what is causing people's buds to go out... I'm thinking of buying the Ti's for trips... I hate not able to hear what I want on the plane... buds don't always get the point across to people... but the Ti's will get it across... of course they aren't as cheap as the buds...
btw... I'm curious if anyone else has the Ti's from Skullcandy... just wondering if they keep the sound true or if they add base... I hate having to get my friend to bring his studio headphones when I run sound for his band..
Try avoiding them and the Skullcandy's.
Having no highs and mids, it only outputs bloated midbass that makes it boomy, seemingly giving a feeling of a "better sound".
The Zune stocks actually have a better overall detail and presentation over these, with larger soundstage and better articulation with a slight touch of grain to its sound signature.
To be honest, I wouldn't bother upgrading with minimal budget, but if you insist on changing, then I'd recommend the Creative EP-630 out of them all. It's basically a remodeled Senn CX300 at a cheaper price.
Also, if you can take headband cans or clip-ons, I HAVE to recommend Koss KSC-75 or Senn PX100.
The thing I really like about the Skullcandies are how comfortable they are...I'm not much of a sound junkie, nor have a really tried any buds other than iPod and my Skulls but they are definitely comfortable.

Seconding that!
The PX100 is awesome for the price, if you can deal with the fact they use a headband.
