Default Cheapest, good quality Noise Canceling headphones

I'm looking for something nice and cheap, easily portable, and really good at noise canceling....The Bus I ride to and from school is really loud and makes me have to turn the music up to a volume that is damaging my ears.

So are their any suggestions

Note: Remember I am asking for HEADPHONES not earphones or earbuds

Preferences (not a must)
I like the sony brand
Around 20-25 bucks

Here are some nice looking over-ear headphones I'm thinking of getting. They aren't noise cancelling (doubt you can get those for under $30) but the fact that they're over-ear makes them quieter than earbuds. Anyways, take a gander:

For sure. They're meant for snowboarding, so if it drowns out the sound of that, it'll stand up pretty well to a bus of yelling kids. Maybe.
A good thing about non-noise cancelling ones is that they'll drain the battery less because they don't require electricity to make that...hush sound. Anyways, hope you find something good. Feel free to let me know too, because I'm also looking into getting some.

I'm not sure if they're technically Noise cancelling, but Target sells a great pair of Sony Headphones for only $10. My friend got 'em and the sound quality is great, and from what I remember hardly any noise from the outside world.

These are them, but I've seen them for only $10, not $20

wow you read my mind..these were the exact headphones I was looking at

I am down between these skullcandies and these sony headphones...I'm not too sure yet, but I still have 2 weeks when I get my next check to decide

I liked the skull candy because of how it folds nicely...and because of the colors lol

my boyfriend got a pair of gpx headphones for ~$17 that sound ok. i have a pair of philips 75% noise-cancelling headphones that suck! i got them at best buy for around $50. after a month or so, they broke. one side of the noise-canceling cut out, so the whole sound is wonky, like distorted and over-bassed. and of course best buy won't take them back after one month.

those are the crappy philips i have. do NOT get them.
