Using Ipod AC adapter with zune??

Hey guys,

I'm kind of new to this zune business and i'm really enjoying it, specially what you guys are pulling off with the device. I'm one of those frustrated-ex-ipod-users, so I own an ipod AC adapter. I was wondering if there was a way of using this AC adapter with the zune, instead of paying a lot of money to buy a zune AC adapter.

Well if you have the USB iPod AC adapter you just plug the USB cable right into the AC adapter and it works. It won't screw up the Zune at all. I use my old iPod AC adapter all the time.

Yeah I see... The thing is that its one of those old 20Gb ipod chargers so it has a firewire socket rather than a USB... so that kind of sucks... :-\

I bought a non-named brand usb charger that says it works with the iPod but my Zune doesn't charge with it. The output is 5v 1.0A so it should work as far as the power goes.

Frustrating... I thought this was a good deal because it came with a wall charger and a car charger for $20, instead I wasted $20.

Don't worry about it screwing up the Zune...
However it is hit or miss whether it will charge it.
