Yah, well, I'm going to keep my im414 EVEN THO it is a tinkertoy accessory.
Terrible connector: I have to wobble my zune80 onto it to make a connection. The a.c. connector is also poor. I took the first one back to Office Depot thinking I had a lemon, but the replacement out of the box works as poorly. BASS REPONSE is distorted at higher volume rattling the teency liddle speakers. If I view the im414 as a common "table radio" then it's okay. Calling it anything else is an overstatement. My opinion is that the factory writeup which appears at the top of this thread makes this device seem better than it really is. But while I grumble I have to acknowledge it's only $99. (Not 79 btw.)
