Has anyone tried one of these?

Ok, since I cant post a URL, google search,"Microsoft Zune Battery Extender."

Are they worth a crap?

I bought one off ebay for $7 shipped. Uses AA batteries and works like a champ.

There was some conflicting things I read. I assume that this will charge and allow you to play at the same time.

How long will it last if you are playing videos?

hmm you just interested me I will def look into getting one of these for road trips and such like plane flights places I cant just charge it vie socket or cigarette lighter socket

Belkin makes one that acts as a a battery extender + AC charger. I ordered one recently but havn't gotten it yet. Read some pretty good things on it though. Look for the Belkin Zune TunePower.

Careful, I think I read that it won't work if you totally deplete the battery in the zune. Read the reviews!!! The one I saw was less than $10 (ebay) and allowed you to charge/play even if dead.
