DLO Transdock for Zune

Someone below asked for a general review of the DLO transdock for Zune and I had some more specific questions regarding Line-out. I don't really need the FM transmitter part, which makes it kind of a shame to have to shell out for that extra function, but oh well.

Is the provided DLO-Zune connector-to-USB proprietary? Could I use my current Zune connector to USB cable? If I have an Ipod (gasp!

) or a Sansa (gaaasp!

) could I connect those via their respective proprietary connector-to USB cables? In the reviews that I read many people had trouble Syncing their players (zunes and ipods alike) through the USB cable provided.

If i could connect any cable this is a pretty sweet all-in one charger/aux-out for all MP3players. Since the fam all have ipods it would be convenient for a simple change in cable.
