Default Toughskin Question

Those anyone have the toughskin? I heard that it gets dirt and dust really easily on it, so can you just take it and rinse it under water? I friend has a similar case (even though is silicon), and he just rinses it off every week. However, the toughskin is made of rubber, so can you do that? Would you reccomend this case?

Yea, I would recommend it. I'm basing my opinion somewhat on this video.

And a silicon case is basically a rubber case. So anything that your friend does with their case you can do with this case as well.

Ok, after him washing his case, it started fading and losing its rubberyness. AFter you wash it, will it shrink, harden, anything, or will it just stay the same? I was just about the place the order until I thought of this. Please help!

P.S
I also learned that the belt clip will stratch the back of the zune. Is there way to solve this problem? I heard that if you put tape at the area, when you take the tape off, there's a whole sticky residue. Anyone heard of this problem and know how to solve it?

Thanks!

Well I have the toughskin, its awesome, and yea it can get a lil dirty nothing severe though. All it takes is a damp rag and 5 mins to get it nice and clean.

I have washed mine several times (like 10) and it stays the same as before (except cleaner). No fading, shrinking, color loss or anything like that.

Yes, the belt clip part did scratch my zune in a circular shape, but all of the belt clip plastic can be removed very easily.

Hey!

Thanks a lot for you feed back. I understand that the belt will strach my zune, but is their a way to still use the belt clip? Will a peice of cloth or tissue help it? How can I still use the belt clip without scratching?

Thanks!
