Exclamation Zune 80gb stuck/unresponsive

I got my 80gb zune around a year ago, so I am not sure the warranty is valid.

I have been using it constantly, almost everyday since I have had it with no problums until a couple weeks ago. I accidentaly dropped it off of my desk after recharging it, the fall was not more than 3 feet, but now it will not turn on. when I try to, a faint large battery charging icon is shown in the middle of the screen. It is funny that this drop would do it in since I have previously dropped it numerous times, including off a second story balcony when handing it to a friend. I have looked all over the internet and could not find anything quite like my problem. I have tried all the buttom combinations; reset, power down, erase content, erase contant and filmware, etc. and all i get with them all is the faint battery icon. There seems to be no physical damage that I can see to it. when conected the computer it does not recognize it, but the icon glows for a second immediatly after connection. I have left it connected for a day in case the battery was too low and needed to cahrge a bit before being recognized, but that did not help.

my operating system is windows XP and filmware version 2.5 I believe, if that helps any. Please help if you can, with my zune out of commision I have had to go back to using my crappy ipod, and I am not happy about it. Thanks.

I would say backlight. After a few falls, or after one fall the backlight may go. It all depends on how it lands.
