Default Deleting files Problem

How come whenever I delete music files from my PC, they also get deleted off of my zune. I've heard there is a way around this but I don't know what it is. Please help me out, it's so bad that I'm considering returning this thing.

there is an easy cure for this. i use it all the time when i put large video files on my zune that i don't want on my PC.

after syncing the song/video or whatever you want, go to settings and choose to 'forget this device'.
don't erase anything on the zune, just have them forget it and that is all.
then, disconnect and reconnect your zune.
then choose this computer as the zune's home, and viola.
all done.

another way to do so is if you have more than one account on your computer, (admin, personal) log in under the one that you dont use normally for your zune.
you will have all the same files that you normally have, for they are all on the same computer. BUT, the zune will think that it is a different compuet, so connect your zune as a guest only.
put the files on, and done.
